FastRing Support

FastRing is a local-first intermittent fasting timer for iPhone, Apple Watch, widgets, complications, and Live Activities.

Frequently asked questions

Will the timer remain accurate if the app is closed?

Yes. FastRing saves timestamps instead of relying on a background countdown. The displayed time is recalculated whenever the app or a system surface refreshes.

Why did I not receive a completion alert?

Open FastRing Settings and enable Fast completion. Also confirm notifications are allowed in iOS Settings. Delivery timing is controlled by the operating system.

How do I correct an accidental session?

Open History, tap the session, then edit its start, end, or status. Sessions cannot overlap.

Does FastRing use Apple Health?

No. The first release does not request HealthKit access.

How do I delete or export my data?

Open Settings in FastRing. Everyone can use Delete all local data to remove fasting and hydration records from the device. FastRing+ subscribers can also use Export JSON to make a copy.

What does FastRing+ include?

FastRing's core timer, common plans, Apple Watch app, widgets, and Live Activity are free. FastRing+ unlocks custom plan durations, complete history, advanced reminders, and JSON export.

How do I restore or cancel a subscription?

Use Restore Purchases on the FastRing+ screen to restore an active subscription. To change or cancel a subscription, open FastRing Settings and choose Manage subscription, or use your Apple ID subscription settings.
