Wizbee is designed for children ages 2-6. We take your child's privacy extremely seriously. No personal data is collected from children. All game data is stored locally on your device.

Welcome to Wizbee ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application. Wizbee is an educational game app for young children, and we are committed to protecting the privacy of both parents and children.

Information We Collect
Information Stored Locally on Your Device
Wizbee stores the following information locally on your device using iOS local storage. This data is NOT transmitted to our servers:
- Child's first name and age (entered during onboarding)
- Selected avatar and interest preferences
- Game progress, scores, and achievements
- Learning streak and daily activity data
- Notification preferences
- Subscription status
Information Collected Automatically
When you use Wizbee, we automatically collect certain anonymized information:
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers
- Usage Data: Game sessions played, features used, app performance metrics
- Performance Data: Crash logs, performance metrics, error reports
Information Collected Through Third-Party Services
Firebase Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with our app. All analytics data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify individual children. Firebase collects:
- App usage statistics (anonymized)
- User engagement metrics
- Device and demographic information
- Custom events (game completion, feature usage)
Apple StoreKit
For subscription management, we use Apple's StoreKit framework. All payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not collect or store any payment information.

Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K Compliance)
Wizbee is designed specifically for children ages 2-6 and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable children's data protection regulations:
- No personal data collection from children: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal information from children
- No account creation required: Children do not need to create an account to use the app
- No advertisements: Wizbee contains no third-party advertising
- No social features: There are no chat, messaging, or social sharing features
- No external links accessible by children: All external links are behind the parent-controlled PIN gate
- Parent gate: Settings, purchases, and the parent dashboard are protected by a 4-digit PIN code
- Local data storage: Child profile information (name, age, avatar) is stored only on the device
- Anonymous analytics: All analytics data is anonymized and cannot identify individual children
Parental Controls
Wizbee provides parents with full control over their child's experience:
- PIN-Protected Parent Dashboard: Access to settings and purchase features requires a 4-digit PIN
- Screen Time Management: Built-in daily time limits and break reminders
- Notification Control: Parents can enable/disable all notifications
- Content Control: Parents can view and manage their child's game progress
- Data Deletion: Parents can delete all local data by uninstalling the app
Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information:
- All child data is stored locally on the device, not on external servers
- Encrypted connections for any data transmission
- iOS Keychain for sensitive data storage
- Regular security assessments
- Limited access to anonymized analytics data
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your information:
- Access: You can view your child's game data within the Parent Dashboard
- Deletion: You can delete all local data by uninstalling the app
- Opt-out of Analytics: You can disable analytics collection in your device settings
- Notification Control: You can manage notification preferences in the Parent Dashboard
iOS Specific Controls
- Go to Settings > Privacy > Tracking to control app tracking
- Go to Settings > Privacy > Apple Advertising to limit ad personalization
- Go to Settings > Screen Time to set additional usage limits
Data Retention
- Local Data: Stored on your device until you delete the app
- Analytics Data: Retained by Firebase according to their data retention policies (typically 14 months)
- Subscription Data: Managed by Apple according to their data retention policies
International Data Transfers
Anonymized analytics information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence (such as the United States where Firebase servers are located). These countries may have different data protection laws. By using Wizbee, you consent to such transfers of anonymized data.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
- Updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy
- Providing in-app notifications for significant changes
